Integrations

Installing the iPOSpays WooCommerce Extension

As a site administrator, the easiest way to install the iPOSpays WooCommerce Extension is through your WordPress admin dashboard. This guide will walk you through the installation and activation process from the Plugins section.

Step 1: Check for the iPOSpays WooCommerce Extension

  • Navigate to your WooCommerce site's administrator dashboard.
  • Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
  • Browse through the list to see if “WooCommerce iPOSpays Gateway” is already installed.
  • If it's not listed, proceed with the installation instructions in the section below.

Step 2: Install iPOSpays

  • Go to Plugins > Add New on your WordPress site.
  • Type "iPOSpays" in the search box and press Enter on your keyboard.
  • Locate "WooCommerce iPOSpays Payment Gateway" by WooCommerce, which should appear among the first results.
  • Click the Install Now button to begin installing the iPOSpays WooCommerce extension.
  • Once the installation is complete, the Install Now button will change to Activate.
  • Click Activate to enable the iPOSpays WooCommerce extension.
  • After activation, you will be redirected to the Plugins > Installed Plugins page.

Step 3: Connect to an iPOSpays account

  • The iPOSpays extension allows you to securely connect your iPOSpays account to WooCommerce for processing payments.
  • If you haven't created a merchant account on iPOSpays, please reach out to your Dejavoo sales representative or email sales@dejavoosystems.com to create an account.
  • If you already have an iPOSpays account, logging in before connecting the extension will simplify the process.

Note: The WooCommerce support team does not provide technical assistance for iPOSpays accounts and cannot help with account-related inquiries. If you need support with your iPOSpays account, please contact iPOSpays directly.

Steps to Connect Your iPOSpays Account

  1. Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments tab.
  2. Then, Payment Methods > iPOSpays - Credit/Debit Card (iPOSpays) > Finish setup button.
  3. Customize the payment method name and description by entering your preferred name and description in the respective fields, then click Save settings to apply the changes.
  4. Under Settings, you can enable Test mode if desired.
  5. In the Account details section, click the Edit account keys button.
  6. Edit the test account keys as needed, then click Save settings for the changes to take effect.
  7. Under Payments and transactions, choose between two payment options:
    • Embedded Payment: The checkout process is completed within the site.
    • Redirect Page Payment: Customers are redirected to a secure hosted payment page to complete their checkout.

Integrating with SPIn specification API

iPOS System's SPin™ Interface enables easy integration with third-party systems like POS, kiosks, and cash registers. It creates a cloud connection, allowing the merchant's system to send payment amounts to the device and receive transaction data back, simplifying reconciliation and reducing errors. No sensitive cardholder information is shared with the host system, removing the PCI compliance burden for merchants.

Prerequisite

  • SO or Merchant login into iPOSPays portal
  • Dejavoo Android Payment Device
  • TPN (Device profile) with SPIn enabled
    1. Get TPN (Our sales team can help you with this step)
    2. Enable SPIn
    3. Download Parameter in Payment Device
Step 1: On the Merchant Dashboard, click “S.T.E.A.M > Edit Parameters”
Step 2: Search and select the TPN and click “Edit Parameters”
Step 3: Click the “Integration” tab and select SPIn > Cloud

Copy the Register Id and Auth Key, you will need the values while calling the API from the Host System.

Step 4: Download Parameter

Once SPIn is enabled, then download parameters on the device to reflect the changes into the device.
