CS-Cart Shopping Cart Integrations
Works well with Pepper Pay Gateway through Authorize.Net AIM emulation, facilitating a straightforward setup for merchants using this platform.
Note: Pepper Pay Gateway is a white-labeled instance of FluidPay. In CS-Cart, Pepper Pay can be set up using an Authorize.Net AIM (Advanced Integration Method) emulator, allowing CS-Cart to connect directly with FluidPay's infrastructure.
Important: Merchants do not need an Authorize.Net account to use this integration. The Authorize.Net AIM emulator provided by FluidPay allows CS-Cart to communicate directly with Pepper Pay Gateway, so all transactions are routed through FluidPay without requiring an actual Authorize.Net account.
Step 1: Confirm Compatibility and Prepare for Integration
- Ensure CS-Cart Version Compatibility: Verify that your CS-Cart version supports Authorize.Net AIM configuration, as this integration method is compatible with FluidPay's setup.
- Gather Admin Access: Log into both your Pepper Pay Gateway and CS-Cart admin accounts with full admin
credentials to access all configuration settings.
- Pepper Pay Gateway Login
- CS-Cart Admin Login: (replace yourstoreurl.com with your actual store domain)
Step 2: Configure the Authorize.Net AIM Gateway in CS-Cart
- In your CS-Cart admin panel, go to Administration > Payment methods.
- Add Payment Method: Select Authorize.Net AIM as the gateway to work with Pepper Pay Gateway.
- Customize Payment Name: Set a customer-facing name for this payment method, such as "Credit Card via Pepper Pay."
Step 3: Retrieve and Enter Pepper Pay API Credentials
- Log into Pepper Pay Gateway: Access your account to retrieve the API credentials.
- Generate API Key: Go to Settings > API Keys in Pepper Pay Gateway and copy your API key for integration.
- Enter API Key in CS-Cart:
- Paste the API key into the Transaction Key field within CS-Cart's Authorize.Net AIM settings.
- Enter your Pepper Pay Gateway account ID as the API Login ID if required.
- Refer to Authorize.Net AIM Integration Documentation
Step 4: Configure Payment and Security Settings
- Transaction Type: Choose Authorize Only to capture funds later or Authorize and Capture to capture immediately at checkout.
- Enable Test Mode: Use Test Mode to conduct sandbox transactions. Disable this once ready for live processing.
- Currency and Card Types: Configure accepted currency and card types (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) as per your preferences.
Step 5: Test the Integration
- Run Test Transactions: Enable test mode in CS-Cart or use sandbox credentials from Pepper Pay Gateway to verify that transactions process smoothly.
- Confirm Processing:
- Ensure successful order placements and that payment statuses update correctly.
- Verify that both customers and the store receive order confirmation emails.
Step 6: Enable Live Mode and Monitor Transactions
- Disable Test Mode: After successful testing, turn off test mode to enable live transactions.
- Regular Monitoring: Routinely review transaction records in both Pepper Pay Gateway and CS-Cart for accuracy and prompt issue resolution.
